How do you get over it?

How do you get over ridiculously painful, heart-throbbing experiences?

Well, my plan is to get extremely drunk. Every-night… well maybe not every night, because alcohol is expensive, and I’m rather found of my liver. But definitely enough to suppress the memories of the good times that were definitely mistakes.

Dreams?

Personal

I want a nice house: one that I have a chance to help design and plan. A place that screams ‘New age’ where everyone can come and know they will be entertained, but also one that once you get to know it, says ‘old fashioned’ where people can come for close and comforting company.

I want a nice family: one that I can love, cherish and spoil with all my love. A family that I can rely on to hear my problems and give me their opinion. I want parents that are proud of me for who I am, siblings that help me through my problems, a spouse to comfort me when things go wrong, and I eventually want children.

I want a nice career: one that people will respect me in, and one that will provide the financial means to support the lifestyle I want to live.

Communal

I want my friends to dispense with the drama. I wish they could set aside the petty differences, have an honest talk, let all lies, secrets and deceits out, and finally maybe we could finally tell wether these people are friends or not.

I want my neighbours to respect one another. Why must the elderly be tormented by the younger generation or the immigrants be mocked?

Global

I want the injustice in the world to end! STOP FIGHTING! Can’t you see we are all brothers! All sisters! Put down the guns and cooperate! The land has been divided, boarders declared, and laws put in place. So honour them and move on. No one needs war. No one needs discrimination. So stop imprisoning people for speaking out against a governments actions. Stop invading countries who’ve established on previous government lands. Stop discriminating based on race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

I want the pollution to stop! Turn off your lights / computers / cars when you are not using them. Ride a bike, take a walk, PUBLIC TRANSIT! Think about the consequences of your actions: from buying a soda to the clothes you wear.

I’m sure there will be more to this list, but I can’t help but express these dreams. I try and do everything I can to accomplish these things in both short term and long term. What so you think about them?
